Day One at High Point Market!!

What a way to kick things off! A day full of inspiration, education, and a little hands-on experience!

Started the day with Sherwin-Williams, then headed to Huntington House for a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship that goes into making their chairs. I even got to jump in as an assistant! 🪑

Next up, Fritz Rugs for an education on their beautiful products, followed by stops at Theodore Alexander and Revelation by Uttermost for some serious design inspiration!

One of my favorite things about High Point is getting to learn the stories, materials, and craftsmanship behind the pieces we bring into our clients’ homes. Beautiful design is about so much more than what meets the eye!

Day One in the books, and I’m just getting started! 🥂

Last year, I went looking for beautiful furniture… and came home with so much more. ✨

Fresh inspiration, wonderful connections, and a community of designers who encouraged me as my business grew.

This Friday, I’m heading back to High Point with growing projects, a longer wish list, and so much excitement for what’s next.

Follow along for beautiful finds, showroom favorites, and the details I can’t wait to bring into my clients’ homes. Let’s go furniture shopping! 💚

Happy Monday! Here is a little peek at three different projects I am working on this week!

It’s been a full season of designing, sourcing, and making some really beautiful decisions for my clients.

The best rooms aren’t built around one perfect piece. They’re built in layers and I can’t wait to see these spaces come to life.

Turns out, the cool girls really do have cool jobs. ✨

A little behind the scenes of what “interior designer” actually looks like… job sites, sourcing, measuring, problem solving, designing, and a million little decisions along the way!

And yes, I still think I have the coolest job in the world!

A laundry room may be one of the hardest-working spaces in the house, but that does not mean it has to feel purely functional. For this space, we layered soft sage cabinetry, warm brass details, patterned tile and wallpaper to turn an everyday utility room into something functional and fabulous! Beautiful can be practical too! www.alexkleincreativedesigns.com

POV: You thought becoming an interior designer meant picking out pretty things all day.

Turns out it’s equal parts creativity and technical know-how…space planning, measurements, scale, specifications, problem solving, budgets, installations…and yes, plenty of paint samples and pretty things too.

Some days I’m designing beautiful rooms. Some days I’m on the floor with a tape measure. Usually, it’s a little bit of both.

But building a business doing something I genuinely love?

Kinda chic.

You had me at wallpaper 😍
Beautiful homes are all about layers, and wallpaper is one of our favorite ways to create depth, tell a story, and make a space feel uniquely yours.

Countertops are one of the hardest selections to make because they do so much more than provide a surface… they set the tone for the entire space.

The edge profile. The movement in the stone. How the veining flows. Whether it’s carried into other areas of the home. Every detail contributes to the finished design.

Here are just a few of the things we consider before making a final selection.

We couldn’t pick a favorite...

So here are a few of our favorite moments, all in one place.
