We made our own concrete countertops. 🤎
When we renovated our kitchen, we knew we wanted something a little different — so instead of buying countertops, we decided to make them ourselves.
Forms, reinforcement, pouring, sanding, polishing... and a whole lot of learning as we went.
They aren't manufactured-perfect, and that's actually one of the things I love most about them. The variation and little imperfections are part of what makes concrete so unique — and years later, they're still one of my favorite DIYs we've done in this house.
