Fuji and I came upon this beautiful Northern Flicker (one of my fave birds) that was just sitting in the road. It must have been clipped by a car and was a little stunned. I took it home and gave it a quiet place in a box. Needless to say, it flew away by the time the dog and I returned. Yea!
