Hey neighbors, Vladislav here from Mount & Fix FL. ๐
We've all been there. You are sound asleep, and suddenly that high-pitched chirp starts echoing down the hallway.
There's actually a scientific reason for it! When the temperature in your house drops slightly overnight, it causes the voltage in a dying battery to drop just enough to trigger the low-battery warning.
Pro-Tip: Smoke detectors don't just need new batteriesโthe actual units expire 10 years after their manufacturing date. If yours are yellowing or over a decade old, the sensors are no longer reliable and they need to be completely replaced.
If you have vaulted ceilings and can't reach your detectors, or if you just want the peace of mind of having brand new, 10-year sealed battery units installed throughout your house, I've got you covered.
Send me a direct message, and let's make sure your home is safe (and quiet!) tonight. ๐ ๏ธโจ
