It’s the details that make a countertop feel truly custom. ✨

From the natural movement in the stone to the carefully fabricated edge work, this kitchen shows how the right countertop can completely elevate the character of a space.

We especially love the combination of the warm stone tones, traditional cabinetry, and custom edge detail around the sink area.

At MD Stone Crafters, every project is fabricated to fit the home — not the other way around.

Thinking about new countertops but not sure whether quartz or quartzite is right for your home? 👀

They may sound similar, but they’re very different materials.

🪨 Quartzite
• 100% natural stone
• Each slab has unique movement and veining
• Extremely durable
• Great for homeowners who want a one-of-a-kind look

✨ Quartz
• Engineered surface
• Consistent colors and patterns
• Low maintenance
• No sealing required

There isn’t one “best” choice — it depends on the look, maintenance, and performance you want from your countertops.

At MD Stone Crafters, we can help you compare materials and find the right surface for your kitchen, bathroom, or next remodeling project.

This kitchen features a beautiful waterfall island paired with full-height stone backsplash, creating a clean, continuous look throughout the space.

The contrast between the light natural stone and dark cabinetry really lets the movement and character of the material stand out.
