Evers’ Country Gardens was reborn in 1995 when the founding father, Big John Evers, decided the best way to stay out of his wife’s hair and stay busy during his retirement was to build a greenhouse. It first started with a DeCloet structure that measured 32’ X 48’. This was quickly added onto and since then the entire greenhouse structures have grown to an overall size of 23,000 Square Feet. Evers’ Country Gardens has a wide selection of vegetable plants all grown from seeds and all of their flowers are either from seed or from baby starter plants. ECG prides themselves on knowledgeable people and quality plant material.

🌼 THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL SPRING 2026! 🌼

What a spring it was—cold, wet, windy, and at times suddenly hot. Spring certainly kept us humble this year.

Our spring season begins long before we open. Seeding starts in October, and by late January, things get very busy.

Despite the challenging weather, our special sales were spectacular. We welcomed customers from near and far, saw many familiar faces, and met many new ones.

Most of all, we appreciated your kindness, patience, and support throughout the season. Thank you for choosing our locally grown plants and supporting our family greenhouse.

Evers’ Country Gardens is now closed for the summer, but the growing has not stopped.

Thank you for a wonderful Spring 2026 season. We’ll see you again in late August!

🌿 FINAL DAY OF OUR SPRING SEASON! 🌿

Saturday, June 27 is the final day to shop Evers’ Country Gardens before we close for the summer.

We will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM.

There are still flowers, vegetables, herbs, perennials, planters and other plants waiting for a home.
