We completed this 30x40 metal structure with closed cell spray foam:
• 1.5” on the walls
• 2” average on the underside of the roof deck

Closed cell foam provides a complete air seal, acts as a v***r barrier at appropriate thickness, improves energy efficiency, and adds strength and rigidity to the structure.

We removed the existing foam, which had been improperly applied and failed to cure correctly, contributing to moisture and mold concerns.

After properly preparing the attic, we installed an average of 10 inches of open cell spray foam across approximately 6,000 square feet, creating a complete air seal.
