Just in time to beat the rain! 🌦️ Another roof completed and dried in before Mother Nature had her say.

This wasn’t your average roof replacement. After a complete tear-off, we uncovered structural issues that couldn’t be ignored. Instead of covering them up, we rebuilt the roof the right way from the framing up.

🔨 Complete 29-square tear-off
🪵 Removed all original OSB roof decking
✅ Upgraded the entire roof to 3/4” exterior-grade plywood
🏗️ Replaced damaged roof joists to restore the roof’s structural integrity and eliminate sagging
🏠 Installed a complete Tamko Titan XT Charcoal architectural shingle roofing system
🧹 Thorough cleanup and final inspection

A roof is only as good as what’s underneath it. While many companies would simply install new shingles, we made sure this homeowner has a solid foundation that will last for decades.

🏠🔨 Before, during, and after shots of another one completed by Mason Contracting LLC! 💪

This 9 SQ roof had a built-in diverter that was trapping water and creating multiple low spots throughout the roof. We eliminated the diverter, built up the problem areas using Inso board, and installed peel and stick base sheet to improve the pitch and get water flowing where it belongs. 🌧️➡️

A lot of the issues on this roof were the result of poor drainage design and previous workmanship that wasn't allowing the roof to perform the way it should. Instead of simply roofing over the problems or hitting the customer with an astronomical tear-off bill they couldn't afford, we took the time to diagnose the issues and correct them the right way. 💯

By eliminating the diverter, building up the low spots, improving the drainage, and installing a new roofing system, we were able to give the customer a long-term solution without breaking the bank. Sometimes the best roofing job isn't the most expensive one—it's the one that actually solves the problem. ✔️🏠💰

Once the drainage issues were corrected, we installed a new white granulated modified bitumen roofing system, a new copper eaves box, and new pre-bent edge metal around the perimeter. The edge metal was installed over the new roofing system and everything was properly tied in and sealed for a clean, watertight finish. 🔥🔨

Knocked this one out the right way 💪

Not every job is just “throw a new roof on it”…
Sometimes you gotta come in, fix what was done wrong, and make it last.

▪️ 10 SQ Main Roof – Maintenance + Silver Coat
Full inspection, sealed every seam, pe*******on, and edge the way it’s supposed to be done. Finished with a heavy silver coat to protect and extend the life of the roof.

🔸 2 SQ Porch Roof – Maintenance + Silver Coat
Gave the porch the same attention—tightened everything up and coated it to keep it solid and leak-free.

🔹 Rear 3 SQ Roof – Tear Off & Redone Properly
This part… yeah 😅
Previous roof was torched straight to felt.

We don’t play that.

✔️ Tore everything down
✔️ Installed insulation board
✔️ Installed proper base sheet
✔️ Installed modified the correct way
✔️ Full tie-ins on all edges and pe*******ons

Now it’s actually built to last.

Another one wrapped up 🔥

Knocked out this 10 sq flat roof, skylight, and chimney situation for a customer that was having some real issues.

🔨 What we did:
• Put down a fresh 10 sq white granulated modified rubber roof
• Heat welded all seams tight
• Installed new edge metal around the whole perimeter
• Full tie-in on all edges, pe*******ons, and problem areas
• Installed a new city skylight on a proper raised curb (old one was flat 🤦‍♂️)
• Wrapped and sealed the curb the right way with modified
• Eliminated and cleaned up one chimney
• Chipped out and cleaned up the active chimney, then wrapped and sealed it properly
• Sealed up all open areas at the front edge, party walls, and siding metal
• Reinforced everything with roofing cement & fabric
• Cleaned everything up and kept it tight

This one had animals getting in through the chimney and open gaps up front — all of that is sealed up now without dragging the customer into a full masonry rebuild.

Skylight was flat before… guaranteed problems. Now it’s done right.

⚠️ Another roof fixed after shortcuts from the last contractor.

The previous company coated the roof with aluminum roof coating but never sealed the pe*******ons or flashings — a common shortcut that may make the roof look good temporarily but doesn’t stop leaks.

Here’s how we corrected it 👇

🔧 Roof Maintenance
• Properly sealed all pe*******ons and flashing areas with roofing cement
• Reinforced vulnerable areas across the roof

🏠 Skylight Replacement
• Removed failing skylight and old curb
• Built a brand new wood curb
• Installed a new skylight
• Wrapped the curb using Elevate white granulated modified rubber roofing for long-term protection

🔥 Another Exterior Transformation in Yardley, PA

Check out the before, during, and after photos of this project we recently completed.

This home just got a major upgrade by the Mason Contracting team.

🔨 Multiple layer siding tear-off around the entire home
⚠️ The previous siding had multiple layers installed over old failing siding, which unfortunately failed miserably and caused underlying issues
🪵 Extensive wood replacement where needed to restore a solid structure
🏡 Brand new siding installed on the entire house
📏 All new custom bent fascia metal around the roofline
🪟 All new custom bent metal installed around all windows for a clean finished look
🛠️ Installation of a new white granulated modified bitumen flat roof system on the addition
💡 Reinstalled and integrated vents, lighting, and exterior accessories with the new siding system
🪟 New shutters installed to complete the look

The shutters were on backorder for about a month, but our customer stuck with us while we waited for them to arrive so we could finish the project the right way.

The final result came out clean, sharp, and built to last.
