Free chicken bedding? 🙋🏼‍♀️

A lot of our pasture grass gets pulled up and dies when our chickens are foraging for bugs and scratching at the ground to spread manure. That dead grass then turns into amazing bedding for our nesting boxes! Our chickens love it and best of all, it’s free 😄

It may not be the prettiest, but it works for us!

Just thought you should know 😉

Clean ingredients are a must in our household and we set the same standard for our farm stand. This homestead has truly turned our “hobbies” into a lifestyle that we feel confident raising our children in, feeding our neighbors with, and sharing with our community. It has been such a journey transforming this property into something we love and we cannot wait to see it continue to grow. 💛

And just like that, we have another calf! 💙 Laney is the best mama. This is baby #2 for her and both are doing great!

The mooing in the background is Laney’s older calf, Beef. Perhaps he’s not ready to be a big brother yet but he’ll get used to it 😄

Welcome to the farm little guy!

Hi neighbors! 👋🏼 We wanted to let everyone know that our farmstand hours are changing slightly starting this week.

The farm stand will now be open Wednesday-Saturday, 9am-7pm.

This small change will give our family a little more freedom on the weekends while still being available to you all four days each week. We absolutely love and appreciate each and every one of you that have supported our little stand and followed along with our homesteading journey!

Thanks so much everyone, we’ll see you again at the stand on Wednesday! 🌱🍅

Meet your new Drop Coordinators for Azure Standard! 🌱📦

We are so excited to announce this new adventure! If you haven’t heard of Azure Standard, they’re a family-owned company that makes it easy to access affordable organic foods, a variety of household products, garden supplies, and 12,000+ other awesome products!

One of our favorite things about Azure is the bulk ordering option. This can make a big difference on grocery costs, especially for families, those who love buying in bulk, or those with a farm stand 😉 Orders are delivered to local community “drops”, where customers can pick up their orders while getting to connect with others in their community.

We can’t wait to meet all of you at the next pickup, and if you have any questions about becoming an Azure customer, feel free to reach out to us directly or use our new member code linked in our bio 💛

Come check out what we have in our cooler at the farm stand! 😍

All of this produce has been grown on our own property without any use of synthetic fertilizers/pesticides/herbicides.

The only thing we’ve used so far is a homemade peppermint spray to deter aphids from getting our tomatoes, that’s it!

We’ve done a lot of baked goods in the stand since propping it up last October, so it feels so rewarding to finally have produce available that we’ve grown ourselves.

Come stop by! 🍅🥒🍇

Two weeks off seems like an eternity, don’t you think?! We’ll see you next weekend at the farm stand 💛

Who knew that our little idea for a farm stand would spark so much joy ✨

I never thought we would become so intertwined with our neighbors and community when we started doing this. But over the few short months of propping up our stand, we have met countless new friends who have continuously expressed their gratitude for what we are doing.

This has been such a journey - from figuring out the best recipes, what people like and what I also enjoy making, and all the learning curves in between, we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone that has supported us along the way (especially when the recipe doesn’t always turn out perfect 😅)

We can’t wait to see where this thing continues to take us and we hope everyone enjoys the journey with us along the way!
