Today we provided a fresh installation of a mortise lock on a very cool, custom vintage 1900’s door. A fresh install requires taking a plain, uncut door and carving out the flesh of the wood to create a space for the mortise lock to operate. A local customer sold his 2001 Dodge Ram, and then realized he'd lost the keys the same day. Instead of panicking, he loaded the truck on a trailer and brought it straight to our shop.
