Cleaned the steepest and dirtiest driveway today that I gave ever run into. Tree covered, encapsulated with mold, mildew, and tree sap. 234' long, especialy the last 150' was over 20% grade and hadn't been cleaned in 31 years. I'm worn out.

This is not a before and after picture. The concrete on the right is cleaned regularly by Five Guy Burgers. The curb appeal in front of their store is important to them and also is mirrored by the way they keep inside their store. The store on the left apparently doesn't care about their outside curb appeal. Does this reflect on the way they keep inside the store clean. Hmmm. Store owners should think about what customers think as they are approaching their stores. Like Chick-fil-A. They normally have their stores cleaned every week .

Remember my day yesterday where everything went wrong? Well, this morning the dogs had dog food so they were fed. The credit card issue turned out to be a pump problem at the gas station. It just happened that I went to two pumps that were not excepting credit cards. Today I had no problem getting fuel from a different pump. I went out to the pressure washing trailer and found that the ground cable going from the battery to the engine was lose and that was causing the fuse problem. I already had some new wheel bearings for the surface cleaner wheels so I replaced the worn out bearings with new ones. The water back flowing into the soap drum was caused by a broken o-ring. And the dog didn't jump up on me when I got home today. So I guess everyone can have a bad day once in a while, but Sea to Summit Pressure Washing didn't let it keep us down.

Some days it might be better to just stay in bed. Got up this morning and the dogs were looking at me with sad eyes so I went to feed them and we were out of dog food. I thought I would cook them some scrambled eggs. Well. It turned out I used the most non nonstick pan in the house. And I have soaking that pan for 12 hours now. Then I thought the gas filter was bad on my machine so I replaced it. I turned the key and got not even a click. So I replaced the fuse behind the ignition switch. That worked. Went to the gas station to get diesel fuel for my truck that was dead on empty. The credit card was declined. No time to call the bank, so run back home to drop the trailer and hook the other truck up to it. Get to the job and the machine is running perfectly, then blows another fuse. So I switch over to use the other maching and the battery is dead. I hook up a jump starter to the battery and the jump starter is dead. I get out the jumper cables and get the second machine running. I thing the pump needs to be rebuilt because I am only getting about 70 % out of it but it will do but will be slow. Next I see more soap in my soap tank than I started out with. I go to the trailer to see what is going on and just I walk up to the trailer, the tube that is used to siphon soap out of the soap tank blows up in my face. That is not supposed to have pressure in it. WTH! Then I go get the surface cleaner out and one of the wheels falls off. When I finally get home one of my dogs jump up on me and rips a gash in the back of my hand.
I can't wait until tomorrow to see what happens next.

You said you smelled bleach and called the city to complain while we were cleaning these 20 year old moldy and mildewed properties in Clemson that had never been cleaned. Well, guilty as charged. We used a cleaning solution that contained 0.9% sodium hypochlorite, bleach, which is probably a smaller percentage that you have in your swimming pool. For those of you that think bleach is the great Satan, I ask you to take a look around in you own home and see how many products that you own contain bleach. I agree that the misuse of bleach by a lot of pressure washing companies that may be spraying bleach with percentages as high as 12 to 15% is a very bad thing, but at Sea to Summit Pressure Washing, we are very responsible with the use of bleach.
