Melichar Plants is a small, family business, selling vegetable/flowering plants & beautiful hanging baskets.

We are open during the spring season - April through May. Our goal is to help you make your garden & combination flower pots a success. Melichar Plants sells vegetables, flowering plants and hanging baskets for your garden, patio and deck.

Our tomatoes are loving the summer heat and timely rainfall. We started the German Giant heirloom potato leaf plants from seed in February and now they are over 9-10 ft. tall, flopping over the top of the cage. These deep-pink tomatoes are 1-2 lbs., thin skinned, full of rich sweetness and less acidic. So good!! Let us know in the comments how well your garden is producing.

It's going to be a TERRIFIC TUESDAY at Melichar Plants! All inventory will be 20% Off, except Memorial Day Planters. Our hanging baskets are gorgeous, but we are running low, so shop early to claim yours! With potential rain in the forecast (hopefully), it’s the perfect time to plant your vegetable garden, flower beds and patio pots. We have all the popular tomatoes and peppers plus heirloom German tomatoes and premium hot peppers. The sun-loving, variegated hibiscus and the shade-loving Triostar prayer plant have been popular choices in patio pots. Don’t forget to pick up your hanging basket! They are going fast!
We also have Memorial Day planters available in limited quantities. Hope to see you soon!
Reminder to drop off your used pots and trays. We will reuse and recycle!
