Nothing tests a marriage quite like assembling a piece of furniture with an Allen wrench. 😂🔧

There’s so much more to designing a kitchen than choosing beautiful cabinets and countertops! 🤍

Today I met with Derek, the cabinet contractor, for my client who is completely gutting and redesigning her kitchen. This stage feels a little like putting together one giant puzzle—We worked through the kitchen thinking about how my client will actually use the space every day. Where should the pots and pans live? Do we need deep drawers, pull-outs, tray storage, where is the dedicated trash and recycling? Every cabinet has a purpose, and every inch matters.

The goal is always to create a kitchen that is not only beautiful, but functions effortlessly for the people who live there.

I can’t wait to see this one come to life! 🏡✨

Bringing life and personality to a space that deserved to be seen. ✨

This living room is one of the first spaces you see when you walk into this home, so it needed to be more than just beautiful—it needed to be welcoming, functional, and reflective of the family who lives here.

The deep navy accent wall and architectural molding became a beautiful focal point, while the furniture and finishing details make the room feel collected and inviting.

My favorite spaces are the ones that don’t just look beautiful—they feel like home. 🤍

A bathroom should be more than just functional. It’s one of those spaces where the right tile, lighting, fixtures, color, and little details can completely change how a room feels.

This past year has been FULL of bathrooms (with more to come!)—each one completely different, but all designed with the same goal: creating spaces that feel beautiful, thoughtful, and so good to walk into. 🤍

Manage-it Monday tip 💪: Mothers Day, Fathers Day and birthday books! Stop buying a million individual cards for the holidays, and get all of your message and pictures together in one sentimental hard cover book!

Adding an extra window in the primary bathroom shower was the BEST decision we made. The natural light, the beautiful view, and the way it transformed the overall design took this renovation to a whole new level.

It almost didn’t happen. We were working within a strict budget, and the window was one of the first things on the chopping block. But I fought to keep it, found savings elsewhere, and I’m so glad we did. Showering with this view is like a daily trip to the spa!

A little reminder from your trusted designer 😉: buy the shirt, eat the dessert… and put in the window! The things that bring you joy are often the ones you’ll appreciate every single day. Life is too short not to.
