Sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t adding more — it’s opening things up. 🙌

We took this dated, closed-off space and created a brighter, more open flow between the kitchen and living room. The result? A home that feels bigger, lighter, and much more inviting.

Thinking about opening up your space? Cornerstone Restoration does more than roofs. 🏠

🚨 This one might stir up a little controversy…

One of the MOST commonly skipped items we see on roofs is drip edge — especially behind existing gutters.

Why?

We’ve heard every excuse:
“They already have gutters.”
“It’s not really necessary there.”
“We couldn’t get it behind the gutters.”
“The gutters would have to come off.”

Or sometimes… they simply install it everywhere except where the gutters are and hope you never notice. 👀

Here’s the problem: your gutters don’t replace drip edge.

Drip edge is part of the roof system. It helps direct water away from the fascia and into the gutter instead of allowing water to work its way behind it.

And in Arkansas, drip edge isn’t just a “nice extra” on asphalt-shingle roofs — it’s a STATE code requirement - not city 😬

So when you get a new roof, don’t just ask what shingles they’re installing.

Ask about the things you CAN’T see when they’re finished.

🏠 Not sure yours was installed correctly? Cornerstone Restoration can take a look.
