30.45 miles of I-40. 121.8 lane miles paved. One incredible team. 🤝
Our crews recently wrapped up Arkansas Department of Transportation Project #110747, milling and repaving both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-40 between Biscoe and Forest City, Arkansas, and finishing the project ahead of schedule.
The project covered 1,401,448 square yards of cold milling and 161,534 tons of asphalt across 121.8 lane miles. Our teams hauled 7,692 loads of asphalt, completed 6,532 linear feet of cross-drain rehabilitation, and installed 789,722 linear feet of enhanced thermoplastic striping. The work also included repaving the interchange ramps and the eastbound Palestine Rest Area, along with placing recycled millings along the pavement edges to help eliminate drop-offs.
Getting a project of this size across the finish line took every part of the RedStone team. Excavation, Pipe, Concrete, Base, Paving, Transportation, Heavy Haul, Dispatch, Asphalt, Quarries, Quality Control, Equipment Maintenance, and Administrative Support all played an important role.
Teamwork kept everyone moving in the same direction. Drive kept production moving day after day. Loyalty kept our people committed to each other and the work. And flexibility allowed our teams to adapt, shift resources, and keep the project moving when things changed.
From blasted rock to a smooth road, this project took the entire RedStone team.
One team. One goal. One project delivered ahead of schedule. ❤️
Great work to everyone who played a part in making it happen! You earned this one. 👏
