Fall planting season is here! ◡̈

A pretty good restock so far - esperanza, rock rose, cenizo, cardinal flower, Maximilian sunflower, four-nerve daisy, frogfruit, woolly stemodia, gaura, skullcap, Mesa Azure sage, dwarf pampas, lemongrass, rosemary + quite a few more.

A few new tropicals, too.

We also have new seed packs (not pictured). Now would be a good time to get them in the ground before the rain comes.

See y’all soon! ♡

YOUR GARDEN ISN’T DYING. IT’S AUGUST. ☀️🌾

August in Central Texas is not exactly our gardens’ prettiest moment.

Plants droop. Leaves get crispy. Blooms slow down. Some of our native perennials start looking… questionable.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re dying.

Many established native plants are doing exactly what they’re supposed to do: conserving energy and surviving the hottest, driest stretch of the year.

Right now:
🌿 Water deeply instead of constantly
🌿 Hold off on major planting when you can
🌿 Give anything newly planted a little extra shade + attention
🌿 Don’t panic over a few crispy leaves
🌿 Start planning for FALL

Because the good news is: fall is one of our favorite planting seasons in Central Texas.

Come wander the nursery, talk plants with us, and start dreaming up your fall garden. 🌾
