We’re making great progress on this full-scale commercial remodel at the Port of Stockton! We completely gutted the office down to the studs and have been rebuilding it from the inside out.

So far, we’ve completed the new plumbing, electrical, insulation, sheetrock, cabinets, siding, and roofing. We still have to install the fiber lines, lay the new flooring, and complete the remaining finish work to bring this project across the finish line.

It’s been a major transformation, and we’re excited to see everything come together as we get closer to completion!

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for hands-on experience in several of the following areas:

Framing: Rough framing, wall layout, structural framing, headers, and sheathing.

Electrical: Rough-in wiring, device installation, and general electrical work within the scope of your qualifications.

Plumbing: Rough-in plumbing, fixture installation, drain lines, and water supply lines.

Tile Work: Tile installation, shower systems, waterproofing, backsplashes, and floor tile.

Concrete: Forming, rebar installation, pouring, and finishing.

Drywall: Hanging, taping, texturing, and finishing.

Finish Carpentry: Doors, trim, cabinets, baseboards, and detail work.

Flooring: LVP, laminate, hardwood, and other flooring installations.

Painting: Interior and exterior painting, preparation, and finishing.

Siding and Roofing: Installation, repairs, flashing, and weatherproofing.

General Construction: Demolition, jobsite preparation, material handling, and other phases of construction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential or commercial construction.

Skilled in multiple trades and able to work independently when needed.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must have your own basic hand tools.

Ability to follow plans, instructions, building codes, and safety requirements.

Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.

Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Lodi and surrounding areas.

What We're Looking For

We want experienced construction workers who know their trade, take pride in their work, and take responsibility for completing projects correctly and efficiently. We are especially interested in well-rounded workers who can handle multiple aspects of a project without constant supervision.

Trade-specific licensing or certification is required where applicable.

This project in Sutter Creek has been one heck of an undertaking! We were originally hired to tear down and rebuild the deck and replace the siding on the back of the house. Unfortunately, once we removed the existing siding, we discovered extensive moisture damage due to a failed moisture barrier. This meant rebuilding the entire back wall framing, removing all the doors and windows, and replacing the headers.

It turned into a much bigger project than originally anticipated, but we’re pushing forward and making great progress! We’ve officially started framing up the new deck, and it’s finally starting to take shape. 💪🔨

Another reminder of why it’s so important to address the problems you can’t see before they turn into bigger issues. Stay tuned as we continue bringing this project back to life!

Never Forget — September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

25 years later, we still remember.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken that day. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger while others were running away. We remember the families who lost husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters.

As a veteran, 9/11 holds a particularly deep meaning for me. Like many who served after that day, I witnessed firsthand how one morning changed our country and changed the lives of an entire generation of Americans who raised their hand and answered the call to serve.

We may never fully understand the sacrifices made in the years that followed, but we can honor them by remembering why they were made.

Today, I remember the lives lost, the heroes who responded, the families who continue to carry that loss, and every service member who stood watch in the years that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

This home is about to undergo an incredible transformation!

It all starts with a brand-new roof, but we’re not stopping there. This project includes:

• A complete roof replacement
• Rebuilding both decks
• Removing the old covered patio to open up the space
• Replacing all exterior dry rot
• Upgrading the outdated tile countertops with beautiful new quartz countertops

By the time we’re finished, this home is going to look and feel completely different. We can’t wait to share the final results and show just how much of a difference quality craftsmanship can make.
