If you want to dig less holes for pansies this fall try Cool Wave or Freefall Spreading Pansies.

Unlike standard mounded pansies, Cool Wave and Freefall spread up to 24 to 30 inches wide while cascading 12 to 18 inches down the sides of pots and baskets.

Their vigorous spreading and trailing growth habits make them ideal for cascading over hanging baskets, window boxes, and containers, or acting as a dense groundcover.

We also find them to be more cold tolerant that the large faced pansies during winter ice storms.

As a commercial grower for over 50 years we take plant health seriously and even more so as we want our customers to have success. So, we want to update you why we don't have our main crop of pansies out for sale yet. IT'S STILL TOO HOT, BUT COOLER WEATHER SHOULD BE HERE SOON. 18pk will be $9.75 for standard types. Thank you for buying from a local, family owned grower. Same goes for cool season vegetable starts.

Now is the best time of the year to plant Daphne. This beauty requires a great location of afternoon shade, raised bed, and excellent drainage. However, it is the queen of fragrance in the winter garden! we only carry them 2 times a year, so don't wait.
