It would be very on-brand for me to have a brand new candle poured and ready to go and then just letting it sit there because it didn’t have a name yet. BUT it has a name now, and it’s the one you’ve been asking for over and over and OVER again. So here it is: Southern Toddy! Bourbon and vanilla, sweet maple, a little melted butter, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a hint of apple, basically that old-fashioned cure-all toddy you sip on the first really cold night of the year. Southern Toddy will be making its debut at the Farmers Market tomorrow and then it should be hitting the website this weekend! 🤍✨

Fun fact, Warm C***r was our number one seller from the fall collection last year, and honestly I am not even a little surprised! It smells like the first cold night when the leaves are all crunchy on the ground, a mug of apple c***r warming your hands, and a little cinnamon and nutmeg floating around the kitchen. And I may be biased, but I always prefer apples over pumpkin in the fall. It’s one of the only scents we make in every single format (11 oz, 6.5 oz, wax melts, room spray AND diffusers), so you can pretty much make your whole house smell like a c***r mill at velvetwhiskeycandle.com (link in bio)! 🤍✨

The London Honeybun is one of those scents I made because this town deserved its own candle to celebrate Honeybun Day and I still stand by that completely. It’s been a staple for a few years now and it’s still a personal fave! Available at Arts & Eats at the Farmers Market this Thursday or at Rock Bottom Soap exclusively! 🤍✨

Back at it today to try and get ahead on candle making, as festival season is currently kicking my butt a little. 5 weekends in a row is a lot but we’re halfway through!

In order to make it big, you have to think big, and I have spent 8 years proving that to myself one pour at a time. This little candle company started on a kitchen counter and now ships to over 80 stores nationwide, and I still have to remind myself sometimes that that is not a small thing. I can get a little lost in the tiredness of it all, but really I am truly proud of this dream of mine. And I’m not stopping any time soon. 🤍✨

Restocked the shop just in time for this amazing fall weather!

Spiced Orange is the scent I reach for when I want fall to feel a little bright instead of heavy, like the season is just getting started and there is still some warmth left in it. The clove keeps it grounded but the orange is what you smell first and it is very much a whole mood. Today’s weather was the literal perfect day for it too!

A little birdie told me Dirty South Pottery was dropping all their Autumn Collection today! I’m obsessed with their haunted mugs! And they might have a fall candle or two from yours truly if you visit their store in Wi******er! Seriously it’s worth the trip to see their store if you’re ever close!
