A sheath is an important part of the equation when it comes to buying a knife. A subpar sheath can ruin the utility of a knife, your ability to carry it properly, and add additional cost if you have to commission one because the one that came with it was useless. I was a leatherworker before I had ever made a knife and try to incorporate sheaths as seamlessly as possible, keeping it in mind during the knife design process, so that neither the knife or sheath outshines the other.

The Adviser is here. It has a 8 3/8” overall with a 4 1/4” blade. Made from 3/16” 80crv2 with a black oxide finish, olive burlap micarta handles, and steel pins. It features a full-height grind, classic drop point shape, and lanyard hole. It is carried in a medium-brown English bridle ambidextrous sheath featuring a Discreet Carry Concepts® clip for maximum retention.

The Adviser was designed to be a fantastic do-it-all field knife. Equally at home camping, for farm-use, on safari, whether business casual or tactical gear… and everything in between.

First batch of Advisers is done. They will be available through Empire Outfitters in the next week or so, so make sure you’re following them to be able to grab one. I will have them on my site soon as well. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks for the support.

Custom kitchen knife. Somewhat of a gyuto pattern. 15n20 steel with an 8 3/8” blade and 12 3/4” overall. Belt finish. Stabilized walnut scales and copper pins.

Little custom jobber for a long time customer. Same cpm154 as the standard Recourse but darkened and stonewashed with slightly pointier geometry. Polished edge and heat colored stainless hardware. ✌️
