JTI Fence

When you get the opportunity to put a fence around your local high school football field, there’s really only one question…

“When do you want us to start?”

JTI Fence had the incredible honor of installing black chain link fencing around the newly renovated football field at the home of the Nooksack Pioneers!

Seeing our work become part of a place where the community gathers, kids make memories, and hometown pride fills the stands. Under those Friday night lights, you can bet we’re proud to have a small part in it. GO PIONEERS! 🏈💜 Nooksack Valley High School

Tony there’s a leek under the sink.

I tried 😆 failed miserably! So many things went wrong.

A Fence That Brings The Backyard Together
This fence was built using driven PostMaster steel posts paired with Japanese cedar pickets, giving the homeowner the warmth and character of a wood fence with the added strength of a steel-post system.

And that color? The pickets were pre-stained in Oxford Brown by Wood Defender. It brings out the natural variation in the cedar while giving the entire fence a rich, finished look from day one.

Pre-staining isn’t just about appearance, either. Getting that stain on the wood before installation means the pickets arrive protected and ready to go—no waiting around for a newly installed fence to be stained later.

Driven steel posts. Japanese cedar. Oxford Brown.
A combination that looks just as good as it performs. One happy customer!

Just a heads up, we will be closed on Monday. We will be back at it bright and early Tuesday morning!

THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE FINISH.

This is Oxford Brown by Wood Defender—and on cedar, it speaks for itself.

That deep, rich brown doesn’t hide the character of the wood. It pulls it forward. The grain, the knots, the natural variation from board to board—it’s all still there, just richer.

But a finish like this doesn’t happen by accident.

At JTI Fence, we stain each board with the same attention we give the build itself. We’re looking for full, even coverage from end to end, board after board, because the details you notice up close are what create the finished product you admire from across the yard.

And stain isn't only about making a fence look good. Wood Defender's penetrating stain is designed to protect exterior wood from moisture and UV exposure while allowing the natural character of the wood to remain visible.

Oxford Brown was made for a fence like this.

Warm. Rich. Timeless.

Because when you invest in a custom wood fence, the stain shouldn't be an afterthought.

The build matters. The wood matters. The finish matters.
