A few weeks back, I posted about Mr. Joey Thrift at the sawmill and a special project I would be sharing. Well here it is. A new podium for our church. Our pastor (Trey Orberg) sent me a single picture of one he liked. We’re doing some remodeling inside. I hope our church family loves it as much as I do.
I still get a funny feeling every time I walk into this place not seeing daddy when I walk in the door. I mean, this building has been in our family for 37 years. It was our former car business. I’ve spent A LOT of time here. Since we’ve closed the business some 14 years ago, I can’t think of a better use for it now and to have a small piece of me here means a lot. It has been our church now for just over 10 years.
I pray that Celebration Baptist Church continues to grow and be blessed for many years to come. I love y’all!
