Life isn’t always pretty, even when you’re in the business of making things beautiful. ❤️

This past year has thrown a few more challenges our way than we ever could have imagined. Some days have been harder than others, and we’ve certainly learned that life doesn’t always go according to plan.

But through the ups, downs, laughter, tears, and all the crappy stuff in between, there’s one thing we’re especially grateful for…having each other.

We’re sisters, business partners, and each other’s biggest cheerleaders. And while we love sharing all the beautiful things we do at dwellings, sometimes it’s nice to share a little real life, too.

Because behind every small business are real people, navigating real life.

And we’re pretty lucky to be doing it together. ❤️

Fall is all about layers, and your home is no exception. In this space, we brought together soft bouclé, cozy plaid, plush velvet and rich leather, layering textures that make every corner feel warm and inviting. From choosing the right pieces to pulling it all together, our design team is here to help you create a space that feels like you, all year long.

Well…this is definitely not the post we wanted to make tonight. 😞

After spending the day putting the finishing touches on our new Sun Prairie store, we learned that we will not be allowed to open tomorrow as planned.

We are incredibly disappointed. Not exactly the welcome to Sun Prairie we were hoping for. 💔

We’re working to get everything resolved as quickly as possible and will share our NEW OPENING DATE as soon as we can.

To everyone who planned to visit us tomorrow…we are so sorry. Thank you for cheering us on. ❤️

We WILL get these doors open. Stay tuned.
