Skydeck USA was honored to be part of one of the most unique projects we’ve worked on yet—Welcome Home Village in San Luis Obispo, California, a community created to provide safe, stable housing for people experiencing homelessness.

The homes were built using innovative 3D-printing technology, and the project called for an equally creative solution for the walking surfaces between them. Skydeck supplied the elevated flooring system, adapting technology typically used on rooftop decks to create a durable, level pedestrian surface throughout the village.

What made this project especially meaningful to us was the purpose behind it. At Skydeck, we care deeply about the communities we serve, and we believe the best projects do more than solve a construction challenge—they improve people’s lives.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in helping create a place where people can experience greater stability, dignity, and a true sense of home.
