After considering community feedback, the City of Manassas and Historic Manassas, Inc. (HMI) have canceled the final First Friday event of 2026 to focus on upcoming fall and winter festivities. Community feedback remains important as planning continues for 2027.

This month, we stand with the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support the families and loved ones walking alongside them.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, support those impacted by breast cancer, and remind everyone that no one faces the journey alone.

This Batman Day, we’re celebrating the city behind the Dark Knight and the creativity that continues to shape its skyline.

A fresh purpose for an existing space.

At Palace Plaza in Annandale, a former 10,000-square-foot restaurant presented an opportunity to rethink what the building could become. Loveless Porter Architects transformed the space into two smaller locations for new food-service tenants, while new entry canopies and an updated façade gave the property a more modern, welcoming presence.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful renovation can extend the life of an existing building—creating new opportunities without starting from scratch.
