Newest piece! I managed to get ahold of a lovely piece of Osage from a gentleman moving and couldn’t take it with him. He had done the epoxy but couldn’t get it cleaned up so it got put on the back burner and eventually got shelved. I’m pleased to be able to have such a beautiful piece of wood and give it a new lease. The base was all processed from a large slab of post oak ( which is in the white oak family) recovered from the Austin State Hospital, the sections of slab were thoughtfully planned out to get the most beautiful medullary rays at the forefront and the proper grain orientation for strength in the legs. The drawers and drawer box are all assembled with hand cut dovetails. The legs and stretchers are all mortise and tenon joinery. She will be up on my website for sale soon!

Freshly finished and up for grabs. Message if interested. This one of a kind beauty is made from native Texas pecan for the seat and walnut for the back an armrest. It morphs itself from a Windsor style chair with sculpted seat to a lovely live edge side table as it moves. Finished with hard wax oil for durability. Truly a beautiful piece. $2800.00

Wonderful project I got commissioned for. Was allowed a little artistic liberty with the wood and epoxy. Pretty nerve wracking but everyone is tickled purple with the island top.
