Alocasia Cuprea 'Red Secret' are one of my favorite alocasia. Their leaves look like upside down tear drops that are metallic looking. They range in color, from a deep purple, to a beautiful bronze. The underside of the leaves are a pretty deep shade of purple.

This plant is on the shorter side, growing at a max of 1 to 2 feet. The veining is recessed, and the leaf is raised, giving it the appearance of being puffy. The veining is also black which really brings out the red color.

Cuprea enjoy bright indirect light, just like many other tropical houseplants. And as other tropicals, putting this plant in strong direct sunlight will result in their leaves burning.

Humidity for this plant should sit around 60%, and doing so will assure the plant stays healthy. Being a tropical plant, they like to be kept watered. Under watering can lead to a dulling in color, and even loss in leaves. A watered plant, is a happy plant.

The Alocasia Cuprea 'Red Secret' are truly a unique, rare looking alocasia that tend to stand out among other's. Short in stature, but vibrantly colored, it is commonly sought after by many houseplant collectors.

'Pink Dragon' Alocasia are one of the easiest alocasia to grow and care for. They have broad green leaves, vibrant white veining, and pink dappled stems that give them the name 'Pink Dragon'.

These plants grow tall, reaching a max height of 2 to 3 feet tall! In the optimal condition for these plants, they can exceed that, growing 4 feet tall and 2 feet in width.

This alocasia, like other alocasia, thrive on bright indirect sunlight. Keeping them in those light conditions promotes larger healthier leaves. Too much light and the leaves will burn around the edges.

The humidity requirements for this plant is high, and keeping it sufficiently watered is a must to keep it happy and healthy. Letting the soil dry to much can cause the plant to drop its leaves. To check if your plant needs to be watered, stick a wooden kebob stick into the pot. If the stick comes out clean, it's time to water.

If you have the room for a large plant, and want something easy to care for, this could be the plant for you!

The syngonium 'Neon Robusta' is a beautiful, wide leaved plant that has pink on the top part of its leaves, and green on the underside.

These little beauties grow fast, reaching a maximum height of 1 to 3 feet! They can also be allowed to climb, reaching lengths of 2 feet and more. They are bushy plants that are foliage heavy.

This syngonium likes humidity, the more the better! With low humidity the leaves could have some issues with unfurling. If leaves become "stuck", using a wet paper towel to wrap the leaf could help.

The lighting conditions for this plant is pretty similar to other tropical plants, in that they like bright indirect light. Too heavy on bright direct sunlight and the leaves could scorch and burn. They could be sustained under medium light, however there is a chance it could become leggy, and lose its vibrant pink coloring.

Syngonium 'Neon Robusta' make beautiful additions to any houseplant collection! They tend to stand out with their beautiful coloring.

I will be starting my tomato, cucumber, corn, sweet pea, petunia, and other starters as soon as the weekend is over! Houseplants are still available, and I have quite a few to choose from.

Finally have the greenhouse up, now we wait for warmer weather so plants can be placed inside.
