People often say, “I don’t know how you came up with this idea, but it’s a really good one!!” Well, here is how the idea for The Small Project Co. came to be.
One year ago I was a stay at home mom for the first time without some sort of side hustle. We had just moved away from our community in Wynne and I was still working on finding my new role in a new location.
My sis-in-law, who at the time had a teaching job, while building a photography business, with 4 kids at home, mentioned she needed some small jobs around the house done but she wasn’t sure when she would get around to it. Given the copious amounts of time I had on my hands I immediately said “I can do it!!”
This was my first true project, but from this interaction I had the realization that she isn’t the only one!! She isn’t the only who just needs someone who can help with the small projects that a contractor would either over-charge for, or say no because it’s just too small.
So, I started The Small Project Co. to help fill that gap for busy families and hopefully I have been helpful to the clients who have been so generous to give me a chance!!
