Last week we got the opportunity to beat the hustle and the bustle of city life, and make our way into the mountains for a drywall job that turned into a little more than that!

Our customer, who had a beautiful slice of property right outside of divide, wanted us to hang and finish his drywall in room in the back of his garage.
After completing the job at hand, the gentleman decided he liked our work and wanted us to finish his project.

The team and I ended up fully finishing a 10x25 room. Complete with carpet tile, farmhouse trim, knockdown texture and full paint!

We love getting the chance to travel to cool places to do cool work!
So if you have a place that is in the mountains, and can’t seem to find contractors willing to travel, call us and we’ll see if we can’t make it happen!

Here is a large remodel we recently completed. This post is going to walk you through our process on doing this large, nearly full home remodel.

This kitchen dining area was divided by a wall giving it a very closed in feeling.
We removed a non load bearing wall giving the first floor of this home an open floor plan.
After all the drywall, texture, and paint was applied to both lower levels of this home. We installed over 1500 square feet of high end luxury vinyl plank.
We designed and custom ordered all the cabinets. As well as custom fabricating an island that housed the sink and dishwasher. Also adding many bells and whistles to the cabinets with features like a trash drawer and many pull out shelves.

All the electrical was done by our favorite company in the game, Marcus electric!
They relocated many outlets and fixtures as well as adding the under-cabinet lights.

After the main level was mainly completed, we added flooring and baseboard and paint to the lower levels and upper hallway. Moving on, we covered all the stairs in lvp flooring with custom bullnose trim, and fresh riser materials!

For the finishing touches we brought in our good friend and fabricator Justin Shumaker to build and powder coat all the hand railings. After the countertops were installed, we came back in for the stacked stone backsplash!

We were happy to see this project through beginning to end and really took our time In the details of design and installation process. Our customers were not completely sure on the overall design of the project when they first had us look at everything. So we presented many options on materials and layout, as well as color schemes. The design aspect proved to be really fun with the cabinets. We integrated different sized upper cabinets and adorned the larger cabinets with a custom crown molding giving the layout a lot of depth. We also installed our biggest pantry cabinets to date!

By the end of our project the customers felt like family and we were truly proud of the work we were walking away from! Our team has really solidified itself in the industry and it’s jobs like this one that make you step back and appreciate what you’ve built!
