Before we began this shower upgrade in Fayetteville NY, the aging tub and rotted sub floor was just not working for these homeowners.

The walk-in shower was finished with matching stone corner molding, four stone corner shelves, two safety bars, an upgraded Spectra Duo shower head, and American Standard fixtures in brushed nickel. The installation was finished off with brushed nickel trim and a 3/8″ thick glass fixed barn door.

This full bathroom remodel included not only a tub-to-shower conversion, but also a new vent fan, flooring, vanity, toilet, molding & trim. Check out our before pictures to see the transformation.

The real answer — not the internet myth.

In most cases, removing a bathtub does not hurt resale value, especially if the home has more than one bathroom. Many buyers today prefer modern, low-maintenance walk-in showers over outdated tubs. However, in homes with only one bathroom, removing the only tub can reduce appeal for some buyers — particularly families with young children.

This Camillus, NY bathroom remodel transformed a dated family bathroom into a fully modernized and highly functional space.

The project included a complete gut renovation down to the wall studs, replacement of a leaking bathtub, relocation of a problematic wall-mounted toilet to a conventional floor-mounted comfort-height model, subfloor repairs, installation of a custom hardwood vanity with an Onyx Collection cultured stone vanity top, upgraded lighting and fixtures, and a new acrylic bathtub surrounded by custom Onyx Collection cultured stone wall panels.

The finished bathroom retained its original footprint while dramatically improving functionality, reliability, comfort, and long-term durability.

The existing tub insert in this Cazenovia NY shower remodel was a very tight, unusual size (54″ x 28″). Our upgrade plan was to build out the left wall of this homeowner's shower to accommodate a larger, 32-inch depth footprint, allowing for some much-needed elbow room.

This Bath Pros customer now has a beautiful new walk-in shower, perfect for hosting extra guests.

This guest bathroom remodel in Baldwinsville, New York transformed a worn builder-grade bathroom into a durable, family-friendly space for the homeowners’ two young daughters.

The project included a premium porcelain-enameled steel bathtub, Fabuwood Indigo vanity, Cambria “Montgomery” quartz countertop, Tarkett ProGen luxury vinyl flooring, a new toilet, and updated plumbing fixtures. During demolition, we also corrected an unexpected drain and vent piping issue beneath the bathtub before completing the renovation.
