🤔 Ever wonder how a milling machine actually removes asphalt?

👏 Rob does a great job breaking down the asphalt milling process from the job site on US-40 in Heber, Utah!

🚧 For this UDOT project, our milling crew used the milling machine to cut a precise 4 foot wide trench through 4 inches of existing asphalt.

👷 Milling allows us to remove asphalt at a controlled width and depth, while grinding and recycling the asphalt material!

🛣️ Once the trench was milled, our crew patched and paved it back at the full 4 inch depth, restoring the roadway with fresh asphalt.

🤯 Projects like this show just how much work happens beneath the finished surface.

🅿️ Our crew recently completed a full parking lot sealcoat and restripe in American Fork, Utah, serving a busy shared commercial lot with businesses including Vasa Fitness, Cricket Wireless, Dollar Tree, Little Caesars, and more.

🖤 The first driveway in this post is one we recently paved in Promontory, Utah. While we were there, we realized just how many other driveways throughout the neighborhood we’ve paved over the years.

🚶 So we took a walk around and captured a few of them. From brand new black asphalt to driveways that have already been through a few Utah seasons, it’s cool seeing our work all around the Promontory community!
