Update on Awax

10/11/2026

We don't just clean your windows, we check for problems and document and report them to the homeowner. This was damage I noticed inside from the recent rains. You may not always be in the keys but we are and we look out for your property. Just another reason to call 305-834-1842 and be on our regular schedule. Hireawax.com

Our little rescue AWAX update

10/09/2026

We went to visit little AWAX. She is in the corner of her swim tank

It’s always a special moment when our rescuers come back to visit 💚🐢 This week, Awax’s rescuers stopped by to check on their little hawksbill and see how she’s doing!

Did you know that 6 out of every 10 rescue calls we receive come from people who have visited The Turtle Hospital? 💚 Your visits help create a community of ocean advocates who make a real difference for sea turtles!

Thank you to everyone who takes what they learn here out into the world and helps us rescue, rehab, and release these incredible animals 🌊✨

AWAX is doing better.

Some good news for Awax! 🐢💚 She defecated and passed some plastic, which is an encouraging sign that material is moving through her digestive system.

It’s heartbreaking to see the amount of plastic and microplastics these young turtles can ingest, but passing some of it is a positive step in Awax’s recovery. We’ll continue to monitor her closely and make sure she gets the care she needs.

Keep those healing energies coming for this little fighter! 🙏🏼✨
