This bathroom already had a beautiful foundation - it was simply missing the final touches that make a space feel truly complete. The bathtub area felt a little empty and needed more warmth, softness, and personality.

A statement light fixture, luxurious curtains, a side table, and a porcelain stool made all the difference. These carefully chosen details transformed the bathroom into a much more elegant, high-end, and inviting retreat - without spending a fortune.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a preview of To Live & Design 2026 at The Carlyle | A Metro Atlanta Event Venue in Atlanta - a beautiful celebration of creativity, design, and the art of entertaining. ✨

Presented by ADAC | ANDMORE and Modern Luxury Interiors Southeast, this year’s event brought together an extraordinary roster of designers, each creating a unique tablescape inspired by Sherwin-Williams Design Pros 2027 COLORMIX® Color Forecast.

It was fascinating to see how each designer interpreted the color inspiration so differently - through layered textures, unexpected details, beautiful florals, and thoughtfully curated settings. The result was an inspiring showcase of artistry, entertaining, and individual style.

I loved having the opportunity to preview the installations before tonight’s signature To Live & Design dinner and to experience so much creativity in one beautiful setting.

A wonderful reminder that color and thoughtful design can completely transform not only a space, but the way we experience it. ❤️

The power of the right paint color. 🎨

This home’s darker brown exterior was replaced with a lighter, warmer tone to brighten the façade and create a more inviting, elevated look. The key was choosing a color with an undertone that works with the existing brick rather than competing with it.

We also gave the entrance more presence. Previously, only the door was dark, while the surrounding trim and window paneling remained white, visually breaking up the entry.

By painting the door, trim, and surrounding window paneling in one deeper color, the entire entrance now reads as one architectural feature - making it feel more impressive and grand.

Sometimes, making a home look more luxurious isn’t about changing the architecture. It’s about choosing the right colors and knowing where to use them.

✨ You don’t always need a full renovation to transform a builder-grade bathroom.

For this client, we skipped the demo and focused on the details that make the biggest impact:

✔️ Replaced the oversized mirror with two statement mirrors
✔️ Updated the light fixtures
✔️ Swapped the hardware
✔️ Added a beautiful big rug

The result? A bathroom that feels warm, timeless, and perfectly reflects my client’s more traditional style - all without the cost and disruption of a full remodel.

As a finishing touch, she chose one of my paintings inspired by Caravaggio’s Narcissus - a perfectly fitting piece for a bathroom. Beyond its beauty, the artwork is a quiet reminder of reflection and the stories art can bring into our homes.

The best design isn’t always about spending more - it’s about knowing where to invest.

Yesterday, I attended the grand opening of the Wayfair Pro-Exclusive Grand Opening Event in Atlanta - and honestly, this is a big moment for the design community here.

From the adorable coffee bus greeting design pros with fresh coffee in the morning ☕️ to being able to finally see, touch, and experience products in person… this store solves one of the biggest challenges of online sourcing.

Atlanta continues to prove itself as a major design hub in the U.S. - and I love seeing brands invest in physical spaces for designers and homeowners alike.

The selection was impressive:
Furniture, outdoor pieces, decor, bedding, mirrors, art, wallpaper, tile… even kitchen cabinets! I was especially surprised by the tile and wallpaper selection.

As a designer, being able to experience materials, scale, texture, and quality in person makes such a difference when sourcing for clients.

Excited to see how this space inspires Atlanta’s design community ✨
