Since 2003, Rachel has been designing and handcrafting jewelry that feels anything but ordinary. A SCAD graduate in Metals & Jewelry, she brings an artist’s eye and a love for the unexpected to each piece, creating one-of-a-kind designs you won’t find just anywhere. From everyday favorites to bold statement pieces, there’s always something special to discover.

And there’s more to come! Rachel will be joining us for November Art Walk on November 6 starting at 6PM, bringing even more of her handcrafted collection to the shop.

We love the Flow Napkin Rings from Ferm Living for their organic, sculptural shape. Each set of four is crafted from solid brass, with its own flowing form inspired by the lines found in nature.

They bring just the right amount of something special to a place setting—casual enough for everyday meals, but beautiful enough to dress up the table when company comes.

A little preview of what’s heading into the Archive Sale next week, October 19–24!

We’re clearing out the studio to make room for lots of holiday goodies coming to Duffy Scott Home—and Kate has pulled together a curated edit of just a few of the many pieces that will be included.

A little taste of Maine. 🍩

Meet “Donut Love” by one of our newest artists, Kate Johnson—a 10x13 acrylic on canvas, framed and ready for its new home.

Kate’s artistic roots began in childhood, when her grandmother, an artist herself, taught her to draw and paint. With a background in both art and counseling, Kate describes her work as a tangible expression of an internal experience—expressive, intuitive, and focused on texture, light, and color.

“Donut Love” was inspired by a trip to Maine and one especially delicious donut enjoyed one morning. We love the story behind it almost as much as the painting itself.

We’re feeling especially grateful today for this little community that has grown around Duffy Scott Home.

Thank you for following along, supporting our artists and makers, stopping in to shop, coming to Marietta Art Walk, sharing our posts, and cheering us on along the way.

We’ve shared a lot of stories here, made a whole lot of laughs, and had so many good nights with artists, friends, staff, and customers. That continued love and support means more to us than you know.

Here’s to the first 1,000—and all the stories, art, laughs, and memories still to come.
