We are officially just a few days away, and seeing everything come together has us thinking about why this event is possible in the first place.

REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE SHOES

• No pre-sign-up required
• Must be on some form of government assistance — SNAP, WIC, HUD, FIP, DHS letter, or school counselor referral
• Must bring proof of each child — birth certificate, school ID, medical insurance card, etc.
• Child must live in your household and be financially supported by you
• One pair per child
• No duplicate check-ins for the same child

Fireworks Fundraiser Pickup is Back! 🎆

Many of you have been asking when we would be doing our fireworks fundraiser pickup again, and we're excited to announce that it's back!
Last year, Junk Relief raised $2,100 to help make our community's 4th of July fireworks display bigger and better. This year, we're hoping to make an even greater impact.

📅 Pickup Day: Saturday, June 27
⏰ Registration Deadline: Friday, June 26 at 8:00 PM
💲 $75 Donation Per Pickup

How it works: • Items must be placed curbside and accessible before pickup day. • No paints, chemicals, hazardous materials, tires, or propane tanks. • Additional fees may apply for large quantities or specialty items. • Registration and payment must be completed by 8:00 PM on Friday, June 26.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting our local 4th of July fireworks display.

This morning, Marshall County was hit with devastating winds estimated at 80-100 MPH, leaving behind downed trees, damaged homes, and a lot of uncertainty for many families.

The storm has just passed, and we're already preparing our crews and equipment to respond as quickly and safely as possible. If your property was affected, know that help is on the way.

Yesterday's storms brought strong winds and heavy rain across Central Iowa, leaving a trail of damage behind. This home in Haverhill suffered significant tree damage when a large tree came down onto the structure, causing damage to the garage and surrounding property.

When the call came in, we didn't wait for the weather to clear. Junk Relief mobilized immediately and worked through the rain alongside the team at CJ Construction to safely remove the tree from the home and prevent further damage.

The next phase of recovery is already underway. The team at Landmark Complete Construction will be stepping in to repair the structural damage and help restore this home to its former condition.

This is what community partnerships are all about—local companies working together when our neighbors need help most.

A huge thank you to CJ Construction and Landmark Complete Construction for their teamwork and dedication.
