Thanks for being a top engager and making it on to my weekly engagement list! 🎉

You’re always rooting for us on social media and in person. That means more to me than you know! Thank you for everything Mr.Jeff!

Below are a few pics of Jeff Wallers beautiful pool deck we built for him a while back.

👋If you’re planning to build or buy a home anytime soon, you may want to save this post.🛟

For those who have built or bought recently — what’s one thing you wish someone would’ve told you beforehand? Interior or exterior. Something you’d add, skip, spend more on, pay closer attention to, or do completely differently?

And while we’re at it, tag the local professionals you had a great experience with — builders, realtors, plumbers, electricians, home inspectors, HVAC companies, lenders, landscapers, or anyone else you’d recommend.

Let’s build a cheat sheet in the comments for our community: real lessons from homeowners and names of local professionals people have actually had good experiences with.

Planning to build or buy? Ask questions. Already been through it? Share what you learned. Local professional? Feel free to jump into the conversation too.

It also helps us learn who we can confidently refer when customers ask us for something we don’t offer.

Y’all, meet Ted and Mark. 😂 They both love football. They both have friends. But only ONE of them has the house everybody wants to hang out at.

Ted watches the game inside on the couch. Every Saturday he texts the group chat: “Game at my house?” Nobody answers. Ted ends up eating 14 wings alone. Poor Ted. 😂

Mark had the same problem… so Mark did something about it. He took advantage of our 0% financing for 24 months and built the setup he actually wanted—covered outdoor living area, big TV, patio, grill, the whole deal.

Now Mark texts: “Game at my house?” and 20 minutes later the driveway is full, the grill is going, coolers are open, kids are playing outside and everybody’s asking what time the next game starts.

Mark’s house became THE house. Mark is basically the neighborhood superhero. 😂🏈

Be more like Mark.

And seriously… after complaining about the heat ALL SUMMER, y’all are really gonna spend the first nice fall Saturday watching football INSIDE?? Lame. 😂🍂

Tag the “Ted” in your group 👇 Ted… when you’re ready, we can fix this. 😂

You’ve got the nice yard. Now give yourself somewhere to actually enjoy it.
A well-kept lawn and landscaping can make a property look great, but adding a concrete patio turns that space into somewhere you can actually use.
A patio gives you a clean, permanent spot for:
- Grilling and outdoor meals
- Patio furniture and fire pits
- Entertaining friends and family
- Keeping chairs and tables out of the grass
- Creating a finished transition between your home and yard
You’ve already put the effort into making the yard look good. A patio can be the piece that makes the whole backyard feel complete.
Whether you want a simple sitting area or the start of a larger outdoor living space, M.S. Outdoor Creations can help you build it.

😒 Matt Told Me to Make This Post… So Here We Are.

Well, it’s that time of year again. It cooled off outside and Matt has decided we’re apparently too ✨“streamlined”✨ now and he “wants his brain & hands to be challenged.”

Ummmm… yeah. So here we are.

I mean, he IS pretty dang good at that kinda stuff. I’ll give him that. But ya know… I thought the whole point of building a company was to perfect your craft, build systems, train a great team and get really efficient at the things you do every day.

Apparently I misunderstood. 😂

He wants to “get back to his roots” and do some cool custom concrete & custom stonework again.

According to Matt, he’s also way too picky to let his “baby” — talking about custom work, HIS WORDS NOT MINE — be placed in the hands of our already highly skilled, professional & hardworking team members.

So basically… Matt wants to personally do these.

Custom concrete. Custom stonework. Stamped concrete. Fire pits. Custom patios. Weird ideas. Stuff you’ve had saved on Pinterest for three years. Basically something complicated enough that he can disappear outside, move the same rock 14 times because “it doesn’t look right,” and come back happy with himself.

And if you’ve missed having Matt personally on your project, well congratulations. Here’s your chance to get some ✨one-on-one time✨ with him.

Which apparently some of y’all are REALLY into.

Kinda weird tbh.

Almost cult-ish.

But I’m just the office guy, what do I know. 🤷‍♂️😂

Anyway… enjoy it while it lasts, because eventually he’s going to remember he really can’t spend all day ✨making rocks look pretty✨ when he has roughly 500 other things he’s supposed to be doing on a daily basis.

He says he’ll “make it work.”

And if you know Matt, you already know that man will somehow figure out how to make just about anything work. 😂

HOWEVER — I’m stepping in here.

🚨 5 PROJECTS. THAT’S IT. 🚨

Not “5 and maybe a couple more.”

Not “well, they already called.”

Not “this one is gonna be really cool though.”

FIVE.

Because I cannot run this office by myself any longer than that. 😂

So if you’ve got a custom concrete or stone project you’ve been wanting Matt himself to get his hands on, send us a message or drop a picture of your idea in the comments. 👇

First 5 projects that actually get him excited enough to start rambling about how he’d build them get a shot.

After that, I’m sending him back to being the owner.

Your deck should be built right before you ever have to think about the details.
When you invest in a new deck, you shouldn’t have to ask whether the handrails will be smooth or whether the framing is being protected from moisture. Those things should already be part of a properly finished build.
Your handrails should be sanded smooth and comfortable to use. Your floor joists should be protected with joist flashing tape before the decking goes down, helping keep water from sitting directly against the framing around fasteners and between boards.
From there, the finished look is yours. Some homeowners prefer a traditional deck layout, while others like the cleaner, more defined appearance of a picture-frame border. We can build around the look that fits your home and your taste.
Good materials, solid framing, clean cuts, and attention to the parts you’ll actually see and touch shouldn’t be considered extras.
That’s just how a deck should be built. Don't settle for a half-finished deck with minimum standards being sold as upgrades. Give us a call today!

🚨 CAN’T FIND A CONCRETE CONTRACTOR WHO WILL ACTUALLY SHOW UP?
🏠 NEED A NEW DRIVEWAY? PATIO? WALKWAY? CONCRETE REPLACED?
📍 SERVING A 75+ MILE RADIUS OF MARTIN, TN

We hear it constantly:
📵 “I’ve called three people. Nobody calls back.”
👻 “They came out… then disappeared.”
📋 “They promised an estimate. Never got it.”
📆 “They said they’d start weeks ago.”

Meanwhile, the project isn’t getting done. That cracked concrete is still an eyesore, the old driveway keeps deteriorating, and the patio or walkway you’ve wanted for months is still just an idea.

🏗️ BIG OR SMALL — LET’S GET IT HANDLED.

Meanwhile, the problem isn’t getting any better. Water keeps going where it shouldn’t, erosion gets worse with every heavy rain, and the project you wanted completed months ago is still sitting there.

🚨 DYERSBURG • RIPLEY & SURROUNDING AREAS
…..Still waiting on that contractor to call you back?

💧 YARD WON’T DRAIN?
🚜 NEED DIRT MOVED, GRADED OR DUG?

Yeah… we hear that one a LOT.

No callback.
No estimate.
“We’ll be there next week.”
Then… nothing.

Meanwhile, your yard is still holding water, the ditch is washing out, the grade is still wrong, and that dirt isn’t going to move itself.

You shouldn’t have to chase somebody down just to get a project handled.

👋 We’re M.S. Outdoor Creations LLC out of Martin, TN — and Dyersburg & Ripley already keep us pretty busy.

💧 LAWN DRAINAGE

Standing water • Soggy yards • Buried downspouts • French drains • Catch basins • Channel drains • Grading • Erosion problems • Complete drainage systems

And we’re NDS Certified Drainage Installers.

That matters because we’re not showing up with one solution for every yard.

Sometimes you need pipe.
Sometimes you need grade corrected.
Sometimes you need both.

We figure out WHY the water isn’t leaving — then figure out how to make it leave.

🚜 DIRTWORK / EXCAVATION

Grading • Excavation • Site prep • Building pads • Culverts • Property reshaping • Erosion repair • Dirt removal

Small residential project or a property that needs completely reshaped — this is our kind of work.

We’ve been serving West Tennessee since 2018 and regularly travel within 100 miles of Martin for the right projects.

Chances are, you’ve already seen us around.

At the gas station. At the supply house. Pulling equipment through town. Or working on somebody’s property.

And when we’re working in Dyersburg or Ripley, we try to spend our money there too.

Rock. Pipe. Fuel. Supplies. Food.

If we can buy it locally, we do.

We’re not trying to be the cheapest guys on Facebook.

We’re trying to be the guys who answer, show up, figure out the problem and HANDLE IT.

Got water where it shouldn’t be?

Got dirt that needs moved?

📸 SEND A PICTURE. WE HANDLE THE REST.
