With 4 kids in the house, it's always snack time. Here's what I'm bringing home from the farm store to keep snack time easy plus nourishing.
1. Snack sticks & cheese- these aren't slim Jim's you get at the regular super market. These snack sticks are made from real, local beef paired with Ohio made cheese.
2. Real yogurt made with real fruit- no Artificial Flavors or gums and top it with simple, all-natural granola. Or freeze to make easy frozen yogurt popsicles!
3. Pickles- my kids are into all things pickled right now. These are made with a few simple ingredients and hit those salty cravings perfectly.
4. Party Nut Mix- Nuts are one of those snacks that once you start they're hard to stop. I just set these out and my kids snack throughout the day.
5. Sourdough pretzels- 4 ingredient pretzels, what's not to love? So quick and easy!
6. Honey Bars- sweet, salty, simple. The easiest grab and go snack to keep in the diaper bag for when kids (and mama) get hangry.
7. Sugar-Free Applesauce- easiest lunch side to add to a plate when all the fresh fruitPopsicles! Let's face it, the berries are probably moldy already. π₯΄
8. Popcorn- popcorn is a little more involved to prep, but once it's made, it won't last long. Easy way to get fiber in little bellies.
9. Pb&j- the sourdough elevates the pb&j experience, especially if you take time to toast the bread. All natural peanut butter + no sugar added jam (we love the blackberry).
10. Hard boiled eggs- the most nutrient dense snack that just takes a few minutes to prep. We love adding a little Farm Dust seasoning on top too!
