Stored and Restored

Stored and Restored Stored and Restored is about giving antiques and vintage items a new life & finding them a new home! Then if we didn't have room for it, Sell it!

Stored and Restored was born when my husband and I decided we didn't need to "Store" stuff any longer, but instead, pull it out from being "Stored" and "Restore" it!. I've been storing stuff for some time now, as I have always had a love for Antiques. And I have always wanted to salvage any old piece of junk that I found....but I can only keep so much, so it's time to Restore it and let someone else enjoy it! If you're looking for something special, be sure to check with me as I just might have it, and it's not been Restored yet. Through the process of creating Stored and Restored I would also like to be an encouragement to others. There will be days or weeks when I'm not restoring a piece of furniture, but maybe I can Restore someone emotionally through some kind words or a photo. Thank you for following along with me.

Hello Tuesday! Well, I’m getting ready to head back to the ACM to work my second day in a row as cashier!! We were BUSY all day Monday and I was so Thankful I had Smitten McK helping me cashier for part of the day! I know a lot of customers have missed her and it was soooooo good to have her back in the store with us! I snapped this picture Monday night on my way out, thinking I could try to decide how I’m going to rearrange stuff to get ready for the Christmas load to come in. And you know what I decided? It’ll just happen when I get there! 😂😂 I can try to redesign all night long from photos but I normally do whatever looks good once I get there! Hopefully Wednesday is the day! Let’s hope my car can hold everything I want to take with me!! 🙏🏼😁🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Hello Monday!! Guess who let me sleep till 7am when my alarm went off? Yep, that’s two days in a row now! But this is the look that I get, when Penny is very comfy in my lap, and it’s time for me to get up!! Why am I getting up? Because I’m working as cashier at the ACM today and Tuesday too!! 😱 I’m pulling a double duty, with two days in a row! I’ll let you know Wednesday how that was for my aging self! 😂😂 Hope to see you later today or Tuesday! 😁😘😘

I’m inadvertently putting myself in the Christmas Mood! 🎄After buying my beautiful new/old handmade Christmas tree from Dumpster Diva Designs today, and my snowy wreath still hanging from last Christmas (🤦‍♀️) Which they do look so good together…..I am now watching Christmas movies on Netflix! ☺️ I really need something to energize me so I can get Christmas in my booth. I am normally fully decorated in my booth by this time of year. I know some of you may think that’s way too early, but in the retail business you have to put it out a few months before the season. Here’s the plus side of it for me…..I Love Christmas!! So I get to enjoy the decorations of Christmas longer than most! This job has so many pluses!! 🎄🎄 ❤️🎄🎄 And I’m really liking the brass candle holders with the tree…..I may keep these for now! 😂🤩

After visiting with Melissa in Leonard, TX I drove to Farmersville to watch Rookie play his football game! This is his 3rd year to play and he has sure grown! He made some great tackles today playing defense! I know he looks up to Trevor and these two boys love being together! Notice how Tall Rookie is getting!! They are 7 years apart in age.
