We are looking for a Service Technician to Join Our Team !! :)

Employment type: Full-Time

Compensation: Negotiable

Requirements & Duties:
1. Ability to diagnose and repair Furnaces, Air Conditioners, etc. for Residential & Commercial customers.
2. Must have a valid driver's license.
3. Communicating with the Office Staff to ensure all calls are taken care of.
4. Ability to use simple technology (cellphone & iPad).
5. Documents work by completing paperwork in a timely manner for each job.
6. Flexibility to work nights/overtime/weekends on a rotating schedule with the other Techs .
7. Being able to be self-motivated, work alone and complete work in a timely manner.
8. Ability to use simple power tools.

Required Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* HVAC Degree (1 or 2 Years) – preferred.
* EPA Certified or the ability to be certified.
* A2L Refrigerant Certification or the ability to be certified.

Cedar Falls Heating & Air Conditioning is a family-owned business. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and upbeat to join our team! They must have great communication skills and love helping people.

1.) Being able to be self-motivated individual.
2.) Must have a valid driver's license.
3.) EPA certified or ability to obtain within a short time.

It is Cedar Falls Heating & Air Conditioning Inc.’s policy to inform our customers of any warranties their HVAC equipment may have so they can make an informed decision whether to replace or repair equipment. For Example, did you know that almost every Furnace has a warranty on its heat exchanger, and possible lifetime warranty on the unit if you are the original homeowner!? Here, at Cedar Falls Heating & Air Conditioning, we let you know if your Furnace has a warranty even if we did not install the unit.

Another friendly reminder now that the snow is upon us ......... While you are outside shoveling snow; do not forget to check your furnace exhaust vents. If snow builds up, it could plug your furnace causing your furnace to fail. High winds and drifting snow can also cause issues. Be safe out there.

Handy tip for snow removal ❄️

Gently remove snow from your natural gas meter by hand to prevent damage and keep outdoor vents clear of snow to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.

There is a big joke going around the office about wanting the Christmas Tree up before Thanksgiving, and with the constant "No" responses, the girls decided to dress up as "Halloween Christmas Tree's" this year.
