The Ficus Audrey (Ficus benghalensis), also known as the Indian Banyan, is a popular, sculptural indoor tree prized for its smooth white-to-pale-grey trunk and matte, deep-green velvety leaves with prominent pale veins.

Quick Care Guide

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight (such as near an east- or west-facing window).
• Watering: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches (or top 3 to 5 inches for larger pots) of soil to dry out completely between waterings; overwatering causes dramatic leaf drop.
• Soil: Well-draining, aerated potting mix (mixing standard houseplant soil with perlite or cactus soil works well).
• Temperature & Humidity: Prefers warm indoor temperatures between 60°F and 85°F and normal-to-moderate household humidity; keep away from cold drafts or heating/AC vents.
• Pet Safety: Toxic to cats, dogs, and humans if ingested, and the latex sap can cause skin irritation
