🌳 A great day of giving back!

Last week, the Wachtel Tree Science team joined fellow arborists for the Wisconsin Arborist Association’s Day of Service at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI!

This 440-acre camp provides meaningful outdoor experiences for Wisconsin youth and adults with disabilities at no charge. Our team was proud to help care for the property by addressing tree care needs, improving safety, and supporting the camp’s mission.

We’re grateful to the WAA for organizing this opportunity and to everyone who volunteered their time and expertise to make a difference in the community. 💚

Great trees start below the surface. 🌳

Lawn care and everyday foot traffic pack down yard soil, making it tough for roots to absorb air and water. Our organic Compost Tea treatment acts like a natural probiotic, injecting beneficial microbes deep into the root zone to break up hard dirt, boost water retention, and unlock hidden nutrients.

Give your landscape a boost from the ground up! Contact Wachtel Tree Science today to add Compost Tea to your seasonal care plan. https://www.healthytrees.com/contact/

As autumn leaves fall, your trees enter their dormant season and that makes fall prime time to get ahead on tree pruning! 🍂

Once branches are bare, tree growth slows down, creating the perfect window to prune with maximum precision and minimal stress on the tree.

Why start pruning in late fall?
🔍 Clearer view of limbs
🐛 Reduced pest and disease concerns
❄️ Reduces risk of branch failure
🌱 Improves growth when spring arrives

Contact the Certified Arborists at Wachtel Tree Science today to schedule a pruning service. https://www.healthytrees.com/services/tree-shrub-pruning/

Our Wachtel Tree Science team recently had the honor of participating in the 12th annual nationwide event, Saluting Branches at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 🇺🇸

Our team of arborists volunteered their time and expertise to help care for the trees on the property, joining other tree care professionals in giving back to those who have served our nation.

And of course, no volunteer day is complete without a great lunch! A huge thank-you to American Legion Post 171 for providing an awesome lunch for everyone. 👏

We’re proud to put our skills to work for a meaningful cause and grateful for the opportunity to honor our veterans through the work we do. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible and to all who have served!

🚚🌳 We had a great time at Touch-A-Truck in Sussex last weekend!

Our team of ISA Certified Arborists brought some of our larger trucks and equipment out for the kids to explore. From climbing into the cab to learning about the tools we use every day, it was a fun opportunity to give kids a closer look at what it’s like to work in the tree care industry.

We loved seeing so many curious faces, answering questions, and sharing a little tree knowledge along the way! 🌲

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Did you know that fall is actually one of the better times to fertilize your trees? 🍁

When you rake up fallen leaves, you remove nature’s built-in fertilizer (like nitrogen), leaving yard trees competing with lawn grass for basic nutrients. Fertilization restores depleted soil, and prepares your trees for a healthy spring surge.

Spotting yellowing leaves or early leaf drop? Give your trees a boost. Contact Wachtel Tree Science to schedule a visit with a Certified Arborist! https://www.healthytrees.com/services/fertilization/
