Today is the final day for our in-store fundraiser for our Dear Friend, Kaity Schultz and her family, as we help raise funds to help her on her healing journey. We are open today from 9-2:00! We are so thankful for all of the support already!!! Feel free to leave a message on our facebook, or call and leave a message at Beachside (219-879-8878) for us to get back to you over the next few days, if you’d like to do any last minute orders for Gift Certificates for future use, or preorders on mums or any other items for pickup next week! We are so thankful and moved, to see such a Village of people come together to support the Schultz family has during this tough time.

On May 18th, 2026 Kaity Schultz’s life was changed forever, when a tree unexpectedly fell on her vehicle, on the way to work. The accident left her paralyzed from the waist down, requiring extensive medical care and rehabilitation.

While Kaity, her husband Chris, and her young son JT remain hopeful and positive on the long road to recovery, they are adjusting to a very different way of life, with ongoing physical therapy, medical expenses, and long term care needs.

Beachside Gardens will be holding a give back event September 24th through the 27th, with 20 percent of all purchases at the Garden Center to be donated to their family. This will include all products, gifts, pottery, perennials, shrubs, trees, seasonal plants and accents, tree installs, product deliveries, and gift certificates!!! Everything!!!

Come on in and enjoy a walk through the gardens, and pickup something special in support of the Schultz family! Feel free to call us if you’d like to order a gift certificate or preorder any plants you’ve had your eye on! Fresh product is ready for you, and A cash box will also be present for those who would prefer to donate directly.
