Here are a few more pictures from our latest project. Lots of beautiful materials and finishes by our friends at Lauren Nelson Design. Some fun but very tricky blind doors in several rooms. Even some silk wallpaper in the powder room.

During most of the 1990’s my good college friends Matt Potter, Dave Stockett, Greg Barnes and I were in a San Francisco band called The Pollinators. We played around the Bay Area but mostly at clubs in San Francisco. During that time we recorded 2 cd’s which you can now find on Spotify. The first “Stokin’ the Hive” was released in 1995 and the second, Sweet Sugar Pop was released in 1998. It was an awesome experience and we’re happy to now be able to share our music on Spotify and several other streaming platforms.

Note that there are a couple of other bands called The Pollinators so you can find the real Pollinators by searching “Sweet Sugar Pop”

I’m a huge fan of using templates for getting a perfect fit the first time on things like door hardware. Here are a some templates from my current project. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be able to make one in less than 5 minutes and the precision of your door hardware installation will be much better than chisels alone.
