Im fxing to pull the top end off the 5.7 in my truck and replace the lifters, cam, timing chain, tensioners, water pump, head gaskets, and manifold gaskets. I have to drill out 4 bolts from the heads that I can see so far, maybe more. Fun times.

We passed this tree laying on live powerlines. Thank god we turned around, there were 3 young men fixing to take a chainsaw to it and very well would have lost their lives if they had touched it. We may have been a little late to the job because we blocked the street until the fire department arrived, but we kept people from getting hurt.

Nothing like swapping out cx axles and struts, bushings, ball joints, headlights and bulbs at midnight under a carport, but its all done and only took a few hours. Gotta do an alignment in the morning, then brakes next and a cam and lifter kit soon. 205k miles and shes still going strong.
