I’m always on the hunt for unique finds for my home. Those pieces that you don’t see everywhere else. Wayfair is one of my favorite places to look for beautiful, unique pieces.

This rug you guys! It’s finally back in stock in the smaller sizes. It has a gorgeous, neutral high-low pattern and looks so cozy. I also found a beautiful, damask ottoman, a few pieces for styling my built-ins, some pretty pillows and a few holiday items. All on Wayfair!

PHOTO FRIDAY — Planning Your Home
If you have a build or remodel in your future, start planning now. Planning ahead makes the process enjoyable — it alleviates the stress. There are so many decisions to make once you start, and they come fast. I had the majority of my decisions made by the time we broke ground on my build.

It helps so much to create design boards. Add your lighting, fixtures, furniture — all the things you have to choose. I can immediately see if something doesn’t work aesthetically, when I gather things on a board. I use the Canva app for this. It works on desktop and mobile, but is better on desktop.

Did you know I wrote a book? It walks you through the build process with tips on build and design from a designer’s perspective. It is also filled with beautiful photos so it’s a great coffee table book. A link to purchase is included when you request links.

Yes you can make a $10 swag! All you need is two of your favorite $5 stems. I prefer cedar, but any type will work. Bend the stems downward a tad, then use floral wire to wire together in the center and on each end. Add velvet ribbon for an elegant, timeless look. These are so pretty above art and mirrors. The size of your stems will determine the size of your swag. I’ve linked a bunch of affordable stems.
