Date night. ❤️

One thing we’ve always been intentional about is making time for a date night every week. When you live in the Northwoods, there are some pretty special places to choose from.

One of our favorites? Knotty Barrel Supper Club

The food. The atmosphere. The views. It has everything I love about a Northwoods supper club. It’s cozy, welcoming, a little nostalgic, and the kind of place that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.

Trusting God’s timing means embracing the journey, knowing that His plans for us are perfect. Sometimes, we just need to wait a little longer to see the beauty unfold. Stay faithful and patient. His timing is always worth it. Remember, every season serves a purpose, and what feels like a delay is often divine preparation.

Watching the seasons change here in the Northwoods is always a good visual of this promise.

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ — Jeremiah 29:11.
