❤️ SOUTHERN ELITE SPOTLIGHT — THE ONE AND ONLY MAMA JILL! ❤️
Some people come into your business as someone to just work for you, but over time, they become so much more than that. They become family. ❤️
Today, I want to take a moment to recognize someone who has been a special part of Southern Elite Contracting for many years — Mrs. Jill, better known to so many of us as “Mama Jill!”
Mama Jill works at our headquarters in Monroe, Georgia, where she leads our Customer Relations Department. And let me tell you, she does an OUTSTANDING job! 👏
She spends her days taking care of our customers, helping our team, solving problems, and making sure people feel heard, valued, and appreciated. It’s not always an easy job, but she shows up every day with a heart for people and a dedication to doing things the right way.
But what makes Mama Jill so special isn’t just what she does for Southern Elite. It’s who she is as a person.
Over the years, she has helped me personally in more ways than she probably realizes. Not just with business decisions, daily challenges, or keeping things running smoothly, but with life itself. She’s been someone I can count on, someone who genuinely cares, and someone who isn’t afraid to tell me what I need to hear.
And trust me, sometimes I need that! 😂
That’s why so many people call her Mama Jill. Because she doesn’t just work with people — she cares about them like family.
And I can’t leave out her husband, Tony! Tony is one heck of a good man, too. I’ll put it this way: If I ever get into a fight, Tony is definitely one of the first people I’m picking to be on my team! 😂💪
I came across this throwback picture from our Christmas party last year, and I couldn’t just scroll past it without taking a moment to recognize someone who means so much to our company and to me personally.
As a business owner, you learn that buildings, equipment, trucks, and money don’t make a company great. It’s the PEOPLE who show up every day, care about what they’re doing, and believe in something bigger than themselves.
Mama Jill is one of those people.
Loyalty is something you can’t buy. Genuine care can’t be taught. And having someone in your corner who truly wants to see you and everyone around you succeed is a blessing that should never be taken for granted.

Thank you for the years you’ve dedicated to Southern Elite. Thank you for loving our customers, looking after our employees, putting up with all of us, and being someone I can always count on.
Most importantly, thank you for everything you’ve done for me personally. It hasn’t gone unnoticed, and I appreciate you more than words can express.
