Today's arrangement goes to...ME! I've not had one single vase of flowers in my house all season. On the coldest day, before the dahlias leave us, I figured it was time.

🍂🎃Pumpkins, pumpkins and a candle arrangement.

All of these were special orders and are claimed. Thank you to everyone who ordered!

I am unable to make any more arrangements this weekend. I made these and a few others this week, now I'm all out of greens. I might make a few more next week, but dahlias will probably be finished this weekend.

🍂🍁A fall bouquet for a beautiful fall wedding. I made the bouquet and sent buckets of our last dahlias for them to decorate their tables. Happy to see our dahlias still bringing joy and beauty at this point in the season. Their beauty couldn't upstage the bride and that dress though! 😮😊 So pretty. Congratulations and all the best to the newlyweds. 🥰

Today, like many other days, was all about flowers! We attended the Fine Arts and Flowers event at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. Garden Clubs from around Virginia interpreted 72 pieces of art through floral arrangements. Over 10,000 stems brought all of this to life. It's truly beautiful. 💐

Then, as a treat from my Richmond-Highland neighbor, who is in charge of marketing for the event, I got to attend a sugar flower class with artist, Natasja Sadi, from Amsterdam. Wow! How cool to create floral art with a different medium- and an edible one at that. I walked away with a sugar tulip and an even higher appreciation for her work. I was told one of her sugar flowers started at $300 in the gift shop. You can buy mine for the low price of...kidding! It's priceless and going on display at my house. 😄

If you've never attended this event, get yourself there!

It was a nice day for a white wedding. 👰🤵‍♂💍 I was to use ivory flowers with a touch of blush to create these pieces, and aren't they just classy? And check out my first ever "table runner." I loooved it! As always, I'm so happy to share my flower art with people, and this came with some extra "Cave Country" love.😉 It was an honor to make these for this wedding, and I wish the couple all the best.
