The safest handling is the handling you don’t repeat.

What makes MJE unique is that they are not passively participating in apprenticeship programs; they are championing them. Their intentional promotion, strong branding and storytelling elevate apprenticeship visibility in their region, making them a leader in both workforce development and community influence. MJE continues to be a strong apprenticeship partner with Kansas Farm Bureau's Rural Kansas Apprenticeship Program (RKAP).

MJE Livestock Equipment has demonstrated strong leadership in Registered Apprenticeships through RKAP by creatively overcoming challenges of sourcing Related Technical Instruction (RTI) in rural Kansas. Despite limited local training options, they have proactively identified flexible, nontraditional solutions to ensure apprentices receive high-quality education. Their innovative approach supports critical roles like diesel mechanic, welder and heavy equipment operator. By integrating apprenticeship into their workforce strategy and investing in employee growth, MJE has shown resilience, adaptability and a commitment to building sustainable career pathways in their community.

Congratulations to MJE for winning Apprenticeship Champion for the Southwest Region at the Department of Commerce To The Stars: Kansas Business Awards banquet. Pictured is Heather Jantz, COO of MJE and husband, Aaron Albers, with Lt. Gov. David Toland.
