As temperatures start dropping, we're not the only ones looking for a warm place to stay! 👀

Mice, squirrels, and other little critters are searching for shelter, and your garage might be looking like a new home to them!

One thing homeowners often overlook? Their garage door bottom seal!

A worn or damaged bottom seal can leave gaps that allow:
❄️ Cold air to sneak inside
🐭 Unwanted critters to find their way in
💧 Moisture, dirt, and debris to enter
🥶 Heat to escape your garage

Don't wait until winter is in full swing! A properly fitted bottom seal can help protect your garage and everything inside it.

Cooler Weather Is Rolling In, and We've Got a Tip for You!

Happy Friday from your friends at BDK Door!

With temperatures dropping a bit this weekend, it's the perfect time to give your garage door a little TLC!

Before the real cold weather arrives, take a few minutes to check for unusual noises, keep those tracks clear, and make sure your safety sensors are working properly! 🔧

A little maintenance now can help prevent a BIG headache later! 🥶

And remember, if your garage door starts making noises louder than your dog barking at the mailman… it might be time to give BDK Door a call!

BDK Door installed a custom 16x8 CHI Overhead Doors 5400 Wood Overlay door for a customer of ours located in the North Aurora, IL area.

BDK Door received the garage door, quickly dropped it off at the customers home to stain it, and then allowed it to cure for a week. Once that was all done, we showed back up and got it installed and running perfectly!

This door is the definition of a masterpiece! One of BDK Doors favorite projects of the year!
